Senapati, Feb 5: Assam Rifles conducted a community outreach visit to Puni Pfosemai village in Senapati district, fostering engagement with villagers, ex-servicemen, and local authorities. During the visit, Assam Rifles personnel interacted with residents, highlighting the village’s proud contribution to the nation. Puni Pfosemai is home to 17 serving members of the Armed Forces and eight retired veterans, reflecting its strong tradition of military service.
Deputy Inspector General of 22 Sector Assam Rifles praised the dedication and sacrifices of the veterans, acknowledging their invaluable role in safeguarding the country. He also assured the villagers of continued support and cooperation from Assam Rifles in various community initiatives.
