Awareness prog on Drugs Abuse held at Srinagar

An awareness cum orientation programme was held at the Conference Hall of the Drug Testing Laboratory in Dalgate, Srinagar.
The programme was organized by the Drug and Food Control Organization under the guidance of the State Drug Controller, Jammu and Kashmir, Lotika Khajuria.
.The program focused on new techniques and tools for detecting violations in software applications used by pharmaceutical dealers.
All Drug Control regulation officers from the Kashmir Division attended the program, which aimed to update regulators on the latest software skills and techniques. This training is crucial for addressing challenges faced during routine market inspections.
Drug Control Officer, Anantnag, Ashaq Hussain Bhat, warmly welcomed the participant regulatory officer’s and delivered the inaugural address, outlining the objectives and significance of the awareness cum orientation programme.
The program is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen regulatory oversight and ensure compliance with standards in the pharmaceutical industry. By equipping regulators with the latest tools and techniques, the organization aims to enhance the effectiveness of its enforcement activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Assistant Drugs Controller Srinagar marking the end of the successful orientation programme.
