Azra a talented girl of Kashmir, have done her graduation in Commerce and got her bachelors in physical education and sports from Physical College Ganderbal.Azra is Persuing her Masters degree in physical education and sports from Kashmir University ,and is not just an ordinary University girl but is a talented and full of hope for the best to her future life. Azra a resident of Downtown area (Nowhatta) Srinagar loves to play and is having room full of medals and certificates in her house.
Her life can perhaps inspire another record in Badminton and Cricket. Azra is known to prove her mettle on the cricket and badminton ground.
Just like the others where she have played National in both Cricket and badminton, nd have olso played games like rugby,,martial art,athletics etc and have done NCC olso...
She has got A,B & C certificates in NCC with A grade nd has represented jk state as commander in RDC 2012,The young girl only dreams of representing Kashmir in the
international arena besides serve her community especially young girls in light of we muslim girls.
There’s no lack of talent in Kashmir,” she says. “But what lacks is the infrastructural support, which the government and J&K Sports Council must provide.” i have done NCC and have represented my jk state as commander in national republic day parade held at new dehli ,my dream is to represent Kashmir, in every field
In future, if my game keep company, I want to represent my Kashmir and play at the international level. I personally feel ,i am energetic and i want to play more and more Cricket and Badminton like a talented girl of Kashmir" she added.
Wake up in the early morning nd going to indoor stadium for fitness,gym and play badminton is part of her daily routine work,she said Azra is planning to open cricket or Badminton Academy in her area to help young once; she also want to open fitness center for young girls to help them to reduce obesity but it need lot of expenditure and Financial circumstances which she failed to open due to this" she told with this reporter.
azra is also providing badminton coaching in her area free of cost to help downtown kids to choose their carrer in sports,
Azra, who hails from Downtown belongs from middle class family, her father is not keeping well nd is doing work of copper in same area,,,her family is having lot of expectations from her.She said Now she have an expectations someone's to guide her more so that she can continue her aim in Sports.
Azra loves to flaunt a room full of medals and certificates in her house, Whoever she looks at the morning to evening and nothing else due lack of infrastructure. She has participated in district, state and National level competitions in various disciplines which is Badminton, Judu, Cricket,
Rugby, Skiing and NCC level games; Azra has been awarded more than 30 certificates of excellence, merit and participation, and now want to support from Government of Jammu& Kashmir.
Azra is aspiring player and want to excel in the field of Sports. She is gold medallist in Athletics (Javelin throw and shot pot) awarded
by Kashmir University.in 2017 Azra is awarded in various fields of excellence;
1, she has participated thrice in All India inter university badminton championship,,
2,she have olso participated in national rajiv gandhi all india badminton championship ,,,
3 she have olso participated in GOI Ministry of Youth affairs and sports national level Badminton tournaments in 2016 and 2017,
4, Also represented jk state in U-19 cricket in year 2012 through the same agency.

Azra is the heart winner in Directorate of Physical Education, University of Kashmir,
She has olso got silver medal in JUDo Women, cricket women and BRONZE Medal in Skiing women. she has also honuored in rugby
Girls like "Azra" is a promotion in sports and has undoubtedly changed the lives of young girls like her for the better.
“I want to learn more. I believe there is a lot of scope and talent in Kashmir, i believe we Kashmiris have good talent in all sports and activities, and we just need to believe in ourselves and work hard for better outcomes. I want all girls to feel good and join any sport they want to learn and earn,” she says.
Azra from Jammu and Kashmir, discovered sports girl few years back, and since then there has been no looking back. For someone so young, she is fearless, passionate and determined. She is a shining example of how when young girls are empowered and given freedom of choice, they can surmount any challenge.
Azra as well as in light of Islam has this message to share with especially talented girls - “The girls who have talent and commitment, please pursue the games in light of Islam as we are Muslim girls first, now it is important for parents to support your girls for with your support.
