
A one-day cricket Tournament was today organised by the local administration here under the nationwide campaign “No to Drugs, Yes to Life”
The event was inaugurated by ADC, Sunil Kumar Bhutyal who used the moment to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and the importance of collective responsibility in safeguarding society, especially the youth.
Teams representing different government departments, including Revenue, Health, Rural Development Department (RDD), Roads & Buildings (R&B), Education, along with local teams, participated enthusiastically, symbolising unity and shared commitment against drugs.
The event served as a platform to spread the message of leading a healthy lifestyle and making informed choices for a brighter future.
The programme concluded with a collective anti- Drug pledge led by the ADC. The players and officials vowed to actively contribute towards a clean, healthy and drug-free Jammu and Kashmir.
