District Baramulla athletes displayed outstanding performances during the Inter-District Provincial Level (IDPL) Karate Championship for Under-17 Boys held at Kulgam, bagging a total of three medals — two gold and one bronze.

The gold medals were clinched by Faizan Amin from HSS Sopore and Uzair Shamas from SRM Welkin Sopore, while Sajad Manzoor from HSS Baramulla secured the bronze medal.
Both gold medalists, Faizan Amin and Uzair Shamas, have been selected to represent Jammu & Kashmir in the 69th National School Games, bringing immense pride to District Baramulla.
The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Baramulla congratulated the medal winners and their coaches for their dedication and excellent performance.
