In a moving celebration of the sacred bond of Raksha Bandhan, Baramulla Rashtriya Rifles organised a special event bringing together local youth and soldiers in an atmosphere of unity and cultural pride.
The programme featured poem recitations, ghazals, and speeches by young girls from a local social activist group, highlighting the unwavering role of the Indian Army in protecting the nation and safeguarding its “sisters.” The girls then tied handmade Rakhis on the wrists of soldiers, accompanied by heartfelt gestures of gratitude through paintings and art pieces they had created themselves.
In recognition of their talent and spirit, the Army felicitated these young contributors.
