
Muzaffarpur, July 4: The Department of Higher Education, Government of Bihar, has nominated Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai, Vice-Chancellor of BR Ambedkar Bihar University, to the prestigious Board of Control of the Anugrah Narayan Sinha Institute of Social Studies (ANSISS), Patna for two years.
Expressing his gratitude to the state government, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai stated, "ANSISS is an institution of monumental repute, serving as an intellectual beacon and a premier citadel for socio-economic discourse in Eastern India. Its rich legacy of pioneering research has profoundly shaped public policy over the decades. In today's global landscape, we aim to honor this legacy by building a positive academic ecosystem that drives data-driven policy formulation. Through this council, I will rigorously advocate interdisciplinary research to find pragmatic solutions for Bihar's inclusive development, setting a milestone in the state’s intellectual growth."
BRABU academic fraternity welcomed the announcement, noting that VC Prof. Rai’s global vision and administrative acuity will elevate the institute’s national and international standing, including Prof. BS Rai, Prof. Kanupriya, Prof. Rajeev Kumar, Dr. Sharyendu Shekhar, and Dr. Navin Kumar, among others.
