Budgam, July 30: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Budgam successfully organized the Inter-Zonal District Level Cycling Championship (Under-14, U-17 and U-19) for boys and girls on a beautiful route from Ring Road, Kikar Mod to Railway Crossing, Farashgund. The championship witnessed a large number of enthusiastic participation of students from different zones of the district who competed with great enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship.The event was formally flagged off by Police Inspector Budgam in the presence of Activity Incharge DYSSO Budgam Ghulam Hassan Khanday, senior officers, field officials and other dignitaries. The championship was organized under the esteemed directions of Director General, Youth Services and Sports Jammu and Kashmir, Anuradha Gupta, and under the overall supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Budgam Jaipal Singh, whose continuous efforts are providing quality opportunities to the young players to showcase their talents and excel in sports. Speaking on the occasion, the officials congratulated all the winners and participants for their outstanding performance and appreciated their dedication, discipline and competitive spirit.
