The District Budgam Tennis Ball Cricket Association organized the District Budgam Tennis Ball Championship 2025 at Sports Stadium Budgam from 18th to 19th September. The two-day event witnessed the participation of 30 teams from different clubs and schools, both boys and girls, who competed with great zeal and enthusiasm. Social Activist Muzamil Mehmood was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In his address, he underscored the importance of sports in shaping the personality of youth, stressed upon youth empowerment, called for a collective fight against the drug menace, and highlighted the role of education in building a progressive society. Mr. Farooq Ahmad Salroo, General Secretary of J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association, was present as Guest of Honour, while Ms. Afroza Akhter, Joint Secretary of J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association, also graced the event.
