In connection with the National Youth Festival, the Youth Services and Sports Department, Budgam, organized a vibrant and impressive district level Cultural competition under the banner of Viksit Bharat Cultural Innovation at the District Headquarter. More than 100 school and out of school youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years participated in this event with enthusiasm.They showed their talents and displayed their talents in cultural programs.These competitions included Storytelling, Painting, Writing, Poetry, Dance, and Kashir Chakri.

The event was attended by dignitaries from various departments including Zonal Physical Officer Tariq Ahmad and Incharge Activity Ghulam Hassan Khanday, who appreciated the efforts of the youth and emphasized the importance and usefulness of promoting cultural expression.
At the closing ceremony, the best performers were awarded certificates and trophies. It is worth noting that on this occasion, a panel of esteemed Judges evaluated the performance of the children and selected the best talents who will represent Budgam district in UT Level Competitions.
