The Inter-School Under-14 Girls Volleyball Tournament organized by the Youth Services and Sports Zone Hardu Panzo Department concluded successfully. While girls from private schools as well as government schools of the entire zone participated in the events with great enthusiasmly.The tournament was formally inaugurated by the Headmaster of High School Arizal Nasir Ahmad, in which Activity Incharge Farooq Ahmad Sheikh and other esteemed zonal officials participated.This initiative is a testament to the efforts of the department to promote a vibrant culture of sports among young girls.
Despite the intense heat wave, the young players showed extraordinary determination and physical endurance and their ability to compete with such intensity in difficult weather conditions is truly commendable and impressed both the spectators and the employees alike with their skills.It is worth noting that in a thrilling final, Middle School Hardu Panzo emerged victorious, winning the title after a convincing 2-1 win over Um Al-Banin Public School Hardu Panzo.Adding a meaningful dimension to the event, a pledge was also taken from all participants, staff and spectators under the Nisha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the collective commitment to a drug-free and healthy lifestyle reinforced the values of discipline and awareness that sports naturally instill.
The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony was Zonal Education Officer Hardu Panzo and the Headmaster of Arizal High School Mukhtar Ahmad, who appreciated the players for their perseverance and appreciated the department’s dynamic efforts to promote youth involvement in sports. The event concluded in a grand manner with the distribution of trophies and certificates, turning the tournament into a memorable celebration of youth talent, health and empowerment.
