CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF) has successfully organised investor awareness programs under the initiative Empowering Our Protectors in Army Unit at Baramulla.
The initiative is focussed on promoting financial literacy among armed forces, police personnels, veterans and their families aims to educate individuals from diverse backgrounds with the knowledge and tools required to make informed investment decisions, develop financial independence and contribute to the creation of a self-reliant India.
The participants were also introduced to the basic concepts of the securities market, the role of depositories, and the importance of due diligence in IPOs and the secondary market. The sessions were conducted using practical examples to explain key financial concepts. The program also delved into the core principles of investing and measures to protect against investment fraud.
