Dimapur, Jan 26: The 77th Republic Day celebrations across the state extended beyond ceremonial events, highlighting the strong bonds between the armed forces and local communities. Wreath-laying ceremonies were conducted to honour fallen heroes, paying tribute to their ultimate sacrifice in safeguarding the nation. Band performances added a festive and patriotic atmosphere, while interactions with school children emphasized the values of citizenship, courage, and responsibility enshrined in the Constitution.

Under the banner of Operation Sadbhavna, the celebrations incorporated several community development initiatives aimed at enhancing education, skills, and livelihoods.
