Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir), led by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath today joined the celebration of the commemoration of 150 Years of the National Song "Vande Mataram".

The university organised event at Tulmulla Campus, with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, leading the observance and Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Shahid Rasool, flanking him during the proceedings. Events were organised in all the campuses including Green Campus, Arts Campus and Sciences Campus Nuner.
The event was held in response to the Ministry of Culture’s directive calling for a nationwide celebration marking 150 years of “Vande Mataram”, aligning with the main commemoration led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi Ji, at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi.
The event’s highlight was a live broadcast from New Delhi, enabling the Central University of Kashmir community to join the national event in real time.
Faculty members and students and various disciplines participated in the event.
