Jammu, May 2: After a night-long rescue operation, bodies of three workers trapped in the debris after the collapse of a bridge in Bantalab area of Jammu were recovered.

"The body of the three labourers buried under the debris was recovered during the night long rescue operation," said officials.
On Friday, four labourers were buried under the debris when a portion of an under construction bridge collapsed near Thathar in Bantalab area here.
The bridge was being repaired by the labourers, which had suffered damages in last year's flash floods.
One labourer was rescued during the rescue operation which was launched immediately after the bridge collapse. The Police, Army, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and NDRF team were involved in the rescue operation.
