Ghaspani, June 24: Director General of Assam Rifles, Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, visited the Subedar P. B. Chhetri, Kirti Chakra, Centre of Excellence (NIEDO) at Ghaspani and graced the Farewell and Felicitation Ceremony of the second batch of students undergoing intensive coaching for NEET and JEE examinations.

The event marked the successful completion of a structured academic programme aimed at preparing students from the region for highly competitive national-level entrance examinations in medicine and engineering. The initiative forms part of Assam Rifles’ sustained commitment to youth empowerment, educational upliftment, and capacity building in the Northeast.
During the ceremony, the Director General congratulated all participating students on completing the demanding coaching programme.
