Dimapur , May 17: The Director General of Assam Rifles, Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, along with all ranks of the force, paid heartfelt tribute to the valiant soldier who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on May 17, 2023.
In a solemn remembrance, Assam Rifles honoured the courage, dedication, and selfless service of the brave soldier who laid down his life while safeguarding the nation. The force reaffirmed its deep respect for the sacrifice made in the highest traditions of duty, honour, and patriotism.
