Chieswema, Nov 21: Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of #AssamRifles, visited the Capt N Kenguruse, MVC Centre of Excellence & Wellness at the NIEDO Centre in Chieswema, Kohima District, on 21 November 2025.

During his visit, Lt Gen Lakhera interacted with NEET and JEE aspirants receiving coaching under the Assam Rifles–NIEDO initiative. He encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined, and dedicated to their preparations, emphasizing the importance of perseverance in achieving academic success.
The DG reviewed the aspirants’ study routines, academic progress, and overall readiness for upcoming competitive examinations. Officials highlighted that the initiative aims to provide holistic guidance, mentorship, and support to students from the Northeast, helping them compete on a national level and pursue professional careers.
