
Kohima,Nov 12: As part of its ongoing Outreach Drive Campaign, HQ DGAR conducted a successful outreach programme at Jalukie in Peren district, Nagaland, on 11 November 2025. The event was attended by 35 participants, including Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their Next of Kin (NOK).
During the programme, the team addressed 10 grievances, resolving nine on the spot while one remains under process. Free medical check-ups and medicines were provided to 18 individuals, ensuring immediate health support for the veteran community.
Additionally, 25 ESM were registered on the Sampark Setu App, and 20 previously unregistered ESM were enrolled at the ARESA Centre in Kohima, enhancing their access to welfare and support services.
The outreach programme underscored HQ DGAR s commitment to the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Director General Assam Rifles and the outreach team for their compassionate engagement and continued support.
