
The District Penchak Silat Championship, held from 23rd to 24th August 2025 at Indoor Sports Stadium Doda, concluded with great enthusiasm and participation of athletes from across the district. The two-day event witnessed spirited performances, showcasing discipline, skills, and sportsmanship among the young martial artists.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries. Chief Guest, Chief Education Officer Doda, appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee for providing a platform to budding players and emphasized the importance of sports in shaping youth for a brighter future.
Guest of Honour, Mr. Shabar Ishaq Zargar, encouraged the athletes to continue their hard work and dedication, assuring his full support in promoting Penchak Silat and other sports in the region.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Special Guests, Mrs. MUSSARAT JAHAN and Mr. Rajesh Kotwal (Manager Indoor Sports Stadium Doda), who applauded the participants for their determination and highlighted the role of sports in youth empowerment and community building.
