
International gold medalist Wushu player Divyansh Gupta, Madhya Pradesh's youngest recipient of the Eklavya Award, has been selected for the Indian Wushu team for the 10th World Wushu Kungfu International Wushu Championship in Xiangyang, China. Divyansh has departed for China. This competition will be held in Xiangyang, China, from October 14th to 20th, 2025. Divyansh will compete against players from approximately 30 countries in this international competition. Divyansh previously won two bronze medals for India at the 8th World Wushu Championship and also won a gold and a bronze medal at the Moscow Wushu Star International Championship. Divyansh has represented the Indian Wushu team several times since 2008. Recently, under Divyansh's leadership as a coach, the Madhya Pradesh Wushu team achieved a remarkable performance at the Uttarakhand National Games, securing third place in Wushu. Divyansh is a medalist at multiple national Wushu competitions.
