Srinagar, Jan 23: The International Human Rights Organization (IHRO), Jammu & Kashmir Chapter, will commemorate International Women’s Day 2026 in Srinagar by honouring 100 exceptional women from across the Kashmir Division for their outstanding contributions to society. The initiative reaffirms IHRO’s commitment to women’s empowerment, gender equality, and social justice.

Among the distinguished women to be felicitated is Dr. Munazah, whose dedication and service in the field of healthcare have made a meaningful impact on the lives of many.
Dr. Munazah’s most notable contributions lie in paediatric rehabilitation, where she works extensively with children with special needs. She has been actively involved in the rehabilitation of children with Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and infantile hemiplegia.
Her gentle, patient, and goal-oriented approach has resulted in visible improvements in motor skills, balance, coordination, and overall development. Through her compassionate care.
