Dy CM stresses wider use of Hindi at Pakhwada closing ceremony

 Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary attended the closing ceremony of Hindi Pakhwada celebrations, a month long event dedicated to promoting Hindi in official communications, at Akashwani here today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy CM emphasised on optimal use of Hindi in common masses besides increase of awareness for Hindi among employees also. He said that Hindi is third largest spoken language which shows the universal impact of this language.
Terming Hindi language as an ocean which has ingested many changes with time, the Deputy CM said that Hindi language has absorbed many words of different languages which are now easily used and understood by the people.
Choudhary remarked that Hindi is the language that can unite the vast boundaries of India. “It has a great potential to remove language barriers everywhere in the country,” he said.
During the event, the Deputy CM also participated in plantation drive “Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam”. He also distributed prices to winners of competition in various categories.
The nationwide Hindi Pakhwada celebrations celebrated from 02 September to 26 September 2025, showcased a variety of events like essay competitions, letter writing, typing, general knowledge competitions, and inauspicious pronouns and translation competitions, which aimed at enhancing the understanding and use of Hindi among employees.
