Belonia, Dec 20: Lt Gen R.C. Tiwari, Army Commander of Eastern Command, along with senior military officers, conducted a detailed inspection of the Border Outpost at Belonia in South Tripura to review the security situation along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

During the visit, the Army Commander assessed the operational readiness of troops deployed at the forward post, commending their vigilance, discipline, and dedication in maintaining border security under challenging conditions. He reviewed patrolling protocols, surveillance systems, and infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of proactive measures to prevent infiltration and ensure national safety.
Lt Gen Tiwari also stressed the integration of modern technology, including sensors and surveillance equipment, to enhance situational awareness and rapid response capability.
