Eastern Edge Expedition concludes successfully in Kohima

Kohima, Mar 3: The grand finale of “The Eastern Edge Expedition” under Operation Sadbhavana 2025–26 was successfully completed on 02 March 2026, marking the culmination of an inspiring bike rally across the Northeast. The event was jointly organised by #AssamRifles in partnership with Hero MotoCorp.

The final leg from Dimapur to Kohima was ceremonially flagged in by the Inspector General, Assam Rifles (North), celebrating the safe and successful completion of the expedition. The rally included a 24-member contingent, comprising 12 personnel from Assam Rifles and 12 representatives from Hero MotoCorp, who undertook the journey to promote camaraderie, adventure, and community engagement in the region.
The expedition, conducted under the banner of Operation Sadbhavana, highlighted the spirit of cooperation between defence forces and civilians while fostering awareness about regional development and national integration. Participants navigated challenging terrains, demonstrating endurance, teamwork, and operational coordination throughout the rally.
Officials lauded the commitment of the participants and emphasised the importance of such initiatives in strengthening civil-military ties, promoting adventure sports, and encouraging youth engagement in constructive activities across the Northeast. The successful conclusion in Kohima marked a proud moment for both Assam Rifles and Hero MotoCorp, celebrating collaboration, resilience, and community outreach.
