Rajouri, Nov 13 : The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), District Centre Rajouri in collaboration with the Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Rajouri organised an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) on Thursday.

The awareness program was held at Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Rajouri, as part of the institute’s mandate to foster entrepreneurial spirit among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and make them aware about different government initiatives for entrepreneurship under the J&K Startup Policy 2024-27.
The program witnessed participation of aspiring entrepreneurs and enthusiastic students, all eager to explore the realms of entrepreneurship. JKEDI, with its commitment to nurture entrepreneurship in the region, orchestrated the awareness program as a step towards instilling a culture of innovation and enterprise among the educated youth of the district Rajouri.
Sh. Aatif Mirza, Instructor, Electronics Department, spearheaded the initiative emphasizing the significance of entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic business landscape. Sh. Mehraj–ud-din Bhat, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Rajouri, along with Sh. Wajahat Hamid, Office Associate, JKEDI Rajouri conducted and coordinated the program. Over 60 participants gained real time know-how about the various initiatives under the J&K Startup Policy 2024-27.
The Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme was aimed at equipping the participants with information regarding business establishment and entrepreneurship development coupled with opportunities for innovation.
