An ESM Rally & Interaction was conducted at Charkut Garrison, Lolab Valley Kupwara on 30 Jul 2025. The event was attended by 177 Ex-Servicemen, one Veer Nari and four NOKs.
The event was aimed at raising awareness about welfare schemes, data updation and grievance redressal mechanism.
Officials from Records JAKLI Office, Zila Sainik Board, regional and national banks, Revenue Dept, Agriculture Dept, Sheep & Animal Husbandry and National Rural Livelihood Mission were present to assist the Veterans.
The rally also featured a medical and dental camp that assisted the veterans with healthcare issues including dental check-ups and tooth removal. Dr Abdul Majid Wani, MD of Quality Healthcare also provided free medical advice, blood sampling and medicines.
