
Hails officers awarded Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday lauded the J&K Police personnel awarded the Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak 2025 for their exemplary role in executing Operation Mahadev.
In a post on X, Office of J&K LG wrote, “Every Indian is proud of our J&K Police personnel, who have been awarded ‘Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak’ 2025 for successfully executing their mission ‘Op Mahadev’.”
He congratulated the awardees, saying, “My hearty congratulations to the recipients. Your valour & indomitable courage continue to inspire the people.”
The police team that played a key role in killing of the Pahalgam terror attack in an encounter at Dachigam forest area in outskirts of Srinagar has been awarded the prestigious Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak, recognizing their bravery and exceptional service by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The awardees include senior officers and frontline personnel, such as IGP Kashmir, Vidhi Kumar Birdi, DIG Pande Rajiv Omprakash, SSP Srinagar G V Sundeep Chakraborty, SPs Tanweer Ahmed Dar and Zoheb Tanveer, DSPs Vikram Nag, Shakir Hassan, Mubashir Naiz, Taseer Hamid, and other officers down to constables and technical staff who were instrumental in the operation.
