Srinagar, Mar 23: Police have registered an FIR against Hotel Misty Mountains Laddi in Pahalgam for violating the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 by failing to report the stay of 23 foreign nationals, including 19 British citizens.
During routine checks in the Dehwatoo area, authorities found that the guests had checked in on the evening of March 22, but the hotel management did not submit the mandatory online Form C, which is required to register foreign visitors.
“The hotel willfully concealed the stay, compromising security protocols,” a police spokesperson said. An investigation has been launched at Police Station Pahalgam.
Authorities have urged all hotels in Anantnag district to strictly comply with legal requirements for reporting foreign guests.
