
In the first of its kind, 5 young budding women players have been selected by the junior selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to attend the U19 Elite Camp 2025. The players are Manya Banotra, allrounder right arm spinner; Ananya Dogra, Sania Salathia, Reyanshu Rani, all rounders and medium pacers; Sambhavi Rajput, wicket keeper batter.
The players will attend the camps at Ranchi and Mohali under the watchful eyes of the expert coaches of Centre of Excellence (CoE) Bengaluru from 25th April to 21st May. Manya as member of Team A will join the camp at Ranchi while the other four will join at Mohali as members of Team C, informed Brig Anil Gupta, Member Administration of Sub Committee JKCA. He also described it as a high mark for the women's cricket in J&K which is on the rise.
