As part of its ongoing calendar of activities, Zone Kangan of District Ganderbal today organized an exciting Inter-School Zonal Level Football Competition for Boys Under-17 years at the Zonal Office Ground, Kijpara Kangan.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 60 student players representing various schools across the zone.After a series of thrilling matches, IRIS Kangan and SAPS Kangan advanced to the final.In a closely contested encounter, SAPS Kangan emerged victorious, defeating IRIS Kangan.Both finalist teams were felicitated with trophies by senior officials, acknowledging their outstanding performances and sportsmanship.
A selection panel also shortlisted the best probable players during the competition, who will now represent Zone Kangan in the upcoming Inter-Zone District Level Football event scheduled to be held at GCOPE Gadoora.
