Four people sustained injuries after a vehicle lost control and overturned near Thard on the Jammu, Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district on Friday.

According to officials, the vehicle was travelling from Bhaderwah towards Jammu when the driver allegedly lost control, resulting in the accident.

Police personnel reached the spot soon after receiving the alert and carried out a rescue operation. The injured were evacuated and shifted to the Associated Hospital of Government Medical College, Udhampur, for treatment.

Police have registered the incident and started an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.
