
In a significant humanitarian initiative, We the Helping Hands Foundation NGO inaugurated its second Free Langer Khanna near SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. The initiative aims to provide free Iftari and Sehri to patients and their attendants during the blessed month of Ramadan and other months.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by SDPO MR Gunj, Mr. Junaid Wali, along with renowned political activist Mr. Manzoor Bhat, prominent social worker Syed Aijaz Kashani, and Chairman of We the Helping Hands Foundation, Mr. Umer Wani. All dignitaries addressed the gathering, SDPO MR Gunj, Mr Junaid Wali said "This Free Langer Khanna is a true example of humanitarian service. It reflects the deep-rooted values of compassion and unity in our society. The police force not only ensures law and order but also stands with the community in every social cause. Renowned Political activist Manzoor Bhat said the success of a society is measured by how it treats its weakest members. This Langer Khanna is more than just free food distribution; it is a symbol of hope and togetherness. Prominent Social worker Syed Aijaz Kashani while speaking on the occasion said today is a day of immense pride for all of us as the Helping Hands NGO has taken a significant step in ensuring that no one in our community suffers due to hunger. Social work is not just about donations; it is about active participation in creating change.
