Srinagar, Mar 15: The Gateball Exhibition Match & Felicitation Ceremony was successfully held at Delhi Public Montessori School (DPMS), Gasoo Srinagar. The event was graced by Dr. Umakanta Pani, President of the Indian Gateball Union (IGU), along with the Chairman DPMS Gasoo, President J&K Gateball Union Mr. Vilayat Hussain, General Secretary JKGU Mr. Sahil Ali, and Joint Secretaries Miss Sadiya and Miss Muskaan.

During the ceremony, the talented players of DPMS Gasoo including Saania Bashir, Munazah Firdous, Rahib Nabi, Usmaan, and Areesha Muneer were felicitated for their participation in the Iconic India International Gateball Tournament held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneshwar (Odisha) last year.
Following the felicitation ceremony, an important meeting was held regarding the National Gateball Tournament 2026, which is scheduled to take place in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir in June 2026. Key arrangements including accommodation, food, boarding, and lodging for participating teams were discussed during the meeting.
The Exhibition Gateball Match & Felicitation Ceremony was hosted by Delhi Public Montessori School (DPMS), Gasoo and organized by the J&K Gateball Union (JKGU).
