Continuing its special drive against absconders, Police in Ganderbal achieved another success by arresting one more absconder who had been evading arrest for 19 years.

The arrested individual has been identified as Mohammad Iqbal Zargar son of Ghulam Mohammad Zargar resident of Gulab Bagh Zakura, Srinagar, who was wanted in Case FIR No. 33/2006 U/S 420 RPC of Police Station Kangan.
Acting on specific information, a police team from Police Station Kangan apprehended the said absconder from Srinagar. After completing all legal formalities, the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court of JMIC Kangan, wherefrom he has been sent to Subsidiary Jail Dignibal.
