Srinagar, Nov 8: Chief of Defence Staff General NS Raja Subramani visited the Kashmir Valley to assess the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and deployment arrangements across forward areas and the hinterland.

During his interaction with personnel from the Army, Navy and Air Force, the CDS conveyed Diwali greetings to troops deployed in forward locations.

He appreciated their dedication and commitment towards securing the nation's frontiers and maintaining a strong security presence despite challenging terrain and demanding operational conditions.
