Mother! Your smile awakens the light within our home,
And if you ever get upset, every lamp in my heart seems to go dark.
No matter how difficult the paths of life may become,
The shade of your prayers walks with me at every turn.
Even if I fall, the support of your hand lifts me up,
And when you say “Nothing happened,” even pain hides inside my heart.
Every joy in this world is nothing compared to just one glance of yours—
Mother! You are that blessing for which there is no substitute.
Whatever I am, however I am, it is all the charity of your love,
You are a living river of prayers that never dries.
I have only one request from my Lord… may my mother keep smiling forever,
For without a mother, no world ever truly feels like a world.
