Under the Civic Action Programme, J&K Police inaugurated a Girls’ Badminton Tournament at the Indoor Stadium near SSP Office Pulwama. A total of 08 teams from various educational institutions of district Pulwama are participating in the tournament.

The tournament aims to promote sports culture, encourage healthy engagement among youth, and provide young girls with a platform to showcase their sporting talent and competitive spirit. During the event, officers from J&K police addressed the participants, appreciating their enthusiasm and encouraging them to compete with discipline, fairness, and confidence. They highlighted the role of sports in building character and strengthening community bonds.
