GOC Kalia reviews forward areas in Manipur

Manipur, May 8: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps visited forward locations at Litan, YKPI, Somsai, Kakching Garrison, and Bishnupur in Manipur to assess operational preparedness and security arrangements in sensitive areas.

During the visit, the Corps Commander reviewed the prevailing security situation, deployment patterns, and readiness levels of troops stationed in these forward locations. He was briefed on ground conditions and operational challenges, with a focus on maintaining peace and stability in the region.
The GOC also interacted with troops on the ground, commending their professionalism, high morale, vigilance, and unwavering commitment to duty. He appreciated their sustained efforts in ensuring security and maintaining a stable environment despite challenging conditions.
He emphasized the importance of continued alertness, coordination, and operational efficiency, stressing that the dedication of soldiers plays a crucial role in safeguarding peace and supporting long-term stability in the region.
