GoC Pendharkar hosts veterans Silver Jubilee in Nagaland

Mokokchung, Dec 19: Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, GOC Spear Corps, along with senior civil and police officials, representatives of veteran organizations, and community leaders, interacted with veterans during the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Ex-Servicemen League at Mokokchung.

Organized by Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, the event aimed to honour the selfless service of Ex-Servicemen while ensuring they receive the best possible support and assistance. The gathering provided a platform for dialogue between veterans and officials, allowing discussions on welfare initiatives, community engagement, and ways to address challenges faced by former service members.
Lt Gen Pendharkar lauded the contributions of the veterans and reaffirmed the commitment of Assam Rifles and allied agencies to support them in all spheres of life. The celebrations included recognition of distinguished veterans, cultural performances, and community interactions that highlighted the enduring bond between the armed forces and society.
