Kohima, Dec 9: Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps, extended warm greetings to the Angami community and the people of Nagaland on the auspicious occasion of the Terhunyi festival.

Conveying best wishes on behalf of all ranks of Spear Corps, the GOC highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the Angami people and the festival’s message of peace, unity, prosperity and community harmony. He said that Terhunyi, celebrated with traditional rituals, dances and community feasts, reflects the deep-rooted values of togetherness and gratitude that define Nagaland’s vibrant cultural identity.
The Army leadership expressed hope that the festival would bring renewed joy, strengthen social bonds and inspire collective progress across the region. Spear Corps reiterated its commitment to continue working hand-in-hand with the people of Nagaland for peace, stability and development.
