
Kohima, Jan 29: Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps, visited the Headquarters IGAR (North) in Kohima, Nagaland, to assess the security situation and operational preparedness of the formation.
During his visit, the Corps Commander received detailed briefings on ongoing operations, threat assessments, and measures taken to maintain high operational readiness in the region. Lt Gen Pendharkar also inaugurated a state-of-the-art Communication Complex and a Training Laboratory, designed to enhance the Corps’ operational efficiency, technological integration, and training capabilities. These facilities aim to strengthen communication networks, support rapid decision-making, and provide hands-on training for personnel in modern warfare techniques.
