GoC White Knight Corps reviews security in Kishtwar

Rajouri, May 14:Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, accompanied by the GOC CIF (D), visited the general area of Kishtwar to assess the prevailing operational environment and review the preparedness of security forces engaged in ongoing counter-terrorism operations in the region.

During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed in detail on the prevailing security scenario, intelligence-based operations, area domination measures, and the coordinated efforts being undertaken jointly with sister security agencies to maintain peace, stability, and a robust security grid in the hinterland areas.
The review focused on operational readiness, intelligence integration, surveillance mechanisms, and the effectiveness of coordinated counter-terrorism strategies being implemented to neutralize threats and ensure the safety of the local population.
Interacting with the troops deployed in challenging operational areas, Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra appreciated their unwavering commitment, high morale, professional excellence, and battle-ready mindset. He commended the soldiers for maintaining relentless vigilance and displaying exemplary dedication while performing their duties under demanding conditions.
The Corps Commander emphasized the importance of sustained operational synergy, swift response capabilities, and continued alertness in dealing with emerging security challenges in the region.
Reaffirming the commitment of the Indian Army towards maintaining peace and stability, the White Knight Corps stated that its troops remain “Alert, Agile and Always Ready” to safeguard the nation and ensure security across the region.
