GoC White Knight reviews security in Poonch

Poonch, April 28: Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, visited the general area of Dogrian to review the prevailing security situation and ongoing counter-terrorism operations.
During the visit, the GOC was briefed in detail on the counter-terrorism grid, intelligence framework, and the close coordination and synergy maintained with other security agencies to ensure peace and stability in the region. The review highlighted the preparedness and effectiveness of security forces operating in the area.
Lieutenant General Mishra also interacted with the troops on ground and commended them for their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering commitment towards safeguarding the nation. He lauded their dedication in maintaining operational readiness under challenging conditions.
Emphasizing the importance of sustained efforts, the GOC underscored that constant vigilance, exemplary conduct, and continuous operational preparedness remain crucial for maintaining stability and security in the hinterland areas.
The visit reaffirms the commitment of the Indian Army towards ensuring peace, security, and stability in the region through coordinated and proactive measures.
