Residents of Akhoon Sahab Gojwara have urgently appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to repair and reopen the local drainage system, which has fallen into disrepair. The community reports severe difficulties during rainy days, with waterlogging issue affecting daily life.
The drainage system in Akhoon Sahab Gojwara has been non-functional for an extended period, causing water to stagnate in streets and residential areas during rainfall. This situation has led to health hazards and disrupted mobility for residents. Community leaders have voiced their concerns, urging immediate government intervention to restore the drainage infrastructure.
“Our community is facing serious hardship every time it rains. The blocked drainage is not only causing waterlogging but also creating unhygienic conditions,” said a local resident. “We respectfully request Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to take prompt action to repair and reopen the drainage system to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents.”
The residents believe that timely repair of the drainage system will significantly reduce flooding risks and improve public health standards. They are hopeful that the Lieutenant Governor’s office will prioritize this issue and facilitate swift action to resolve the problem before the upcoming monsoon season.
