The government on Thursday ordered transfer of four IPS officers while relieving ADGP Vijay Kumar (IPS) who is taking up his new assignment at Delhi Segment of AGMUT Cadre.
“In pursuance to order under reference, Vijay Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1997), ADGP is hereby relieved from Jammu and Kashmir on 30.01.2025 (AN), to take up his new assignment at Delhi Segment of AGMUT Cadre,” reads a government order.
Four Police Officers have been transferred with immediate effect.
S.J.M Gillani, IPS, DGP, MD Police Housing Corporation, has been asked to hold the additional charge of the post of Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Jammu Zone, was transferred and posted as ADGP Armed, J&K.
Bhim Sen Tuti, IPS, IGP (POS), PHQ, holding additional charge of IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), J&K and IGP (Telecom), was transferred and posted as IGP Jammu Zone.
M. Suleman Choudhary, IPS, IGP Traffic, J&K, has been asked to hold the additional charge of IGP (POS) PHQ, IGP (Hqrs) PHQ, IGP (Technical Services), J&K and IGP (Telecom), in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
