‘Attempts to weaken Govt will fail’
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Monday said the Omar Adullah-led government will fulfill all promises made in the manifesto during the coming five years.
The Deputy Chief Minister said this to the media persons during his visit to Bone and Joint Hospital at Barzulla in uptown Srinagar today. Choudhary was accompanied by the advisor to Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani.
“Omar Abdullah-led government is of the people who have voted him to power. There is a pain in the heart of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for the masses of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill his promises made in the manifesto and to live to the expectation of the people”, Choudhary said.
“Omar Abdullah's government will honestly redress the grievances of the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have voted him to power amid keeping high hopes on him”, he said.
“Give us some time and don’t decide things in haste. It will take some time to redress the people's aspirations. But whatever promises have been made in the manifesto or by the party President Farooq Abdullah or Chief Minister Omar Abdullah would be fulfilled during the coming five years”, he added.
The DyCM said anyone attempting to weaken the elected government will fail.
“God is there to protect the elected government, and those who try to weaken it will not succeed,” Choudhary told reporters.
