The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Ms. Iltija Mufti on Tuesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

She apprised the Lieutenant Governor on the issues of J&K's Apple growers and traders in view of the disruption of vehicular movement on Srinagar- Jammu National Highway.
She also requested for early restoration of National Highway, smooth movement of fruit-laden trucks and compensation to affected farmers.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (GPC), District Srinagar called on Lieutenant Governor today.
The members of the delegation briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the upcoming commemorative event observing the 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur in Srinagar.
