Hazrat Muhammad (SAW ) said about Hazrat Usman (RA) , every Prophet will have a special companion of him in the heaven , and my companion there will be Usman .

In the name of Almighty Allah , the most gracious , the most merciful, cherisher , sustainer and protector of all the universe . There were four caliphs after Prophet Muhammad ( SAW ) . Caliph means the deputy which governs the country or state under the rules of Islamic shariah. Hazrat Usman ( RA) was the 3rd caliph in Islamic history . He was also a closet friend of our Prophet Muhammad ( SAW ) . Hazrat Usman ( RA ) was the second cousin of Prophet Muhammad ( SAW ) . He was born in 573 Ad in a popular community at that time in Makkah that community is known as Bani Umayya. His fatherwas Affan Bin Aas and mother was Aswa. He remained caliph from the period 644 AD to 656 AD for 12 years .
Hazrat Usman ( RA ) had the two relations with the Prophet Muhammad (SAW ) . First relation is the , he is the companion of Muhammad (SAW) and second relation is the , he is the son in law of Prophet Muhammad (SAW ) As his daughter Hazrat Ruqaayya (RA ) was the wife of Hazrat Usman ( RA ) . when Hazrat ( RA ) had officially announced that , I am a follower of Prophet Muhammad (SAW ) Hazrat Usman ( R A ) was persecuted by disbelievers of Allah . Hazrat Usman asked the permission from last Messager of Allah for leaving the Makkah for some period. The permission was approved by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) . He and his wife along some newly Muslims migrated to Abyssiaha . This time the king of Abyssiaha was Najashi . This migration became the first migration of Muslims ( for the sake of almighty Allah ) from the Makkah Mukarama . Hazrat Usman stay there in a limited period and back to Makkah after some period of time.
He had given the tittle , Dhun Nurain , which means ( the possessor of two lights ) . As we all know that the first battle between the Muslims and non- Muslims was the battle of ( Al Badr ) . Hazrat Usman was absent in this battle , because his wife was seriously ill and remained in the Madina to take care of her life.
After some time , Hazrat Ruqayya left this temporary world. After completing the (Idat ) , Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had given second daughter in the Nikkah of Hazrat Usman ( RA ) . the name of his second daughter is Hazrat Umakulsum (RA ) . That is the reason , he had given the tittle of Dhun Nurian . ( Hazrat Usman ka Aage Hazrat Muhammad s a w be Haya Karta Tha , Aus ko Haya dar Suhaba Kaya Jata ha ) .
At the time of Hazrat Abu Bakar ( RA ) , Furqan e Hameed had collected the qur’anic verses and was kept with Hazrat Hafsa ( r a ) . But after some time the Islam was dominated to other Islamic states . Then this time the verses of Quran was collected by Hazrat Usman ( RA ) .
His period remained the noble period for the Islam . He became the caliph after the Umar ( R A ) .Hazrat Usman ( RA ) remained caliph for 12 years . He was martyred at the age of 84 years old
