Budgam, Aug 12:Javed Hubi, who served as President of the District Bar Association Budgam during 2024–2026, has been declared Patron of the District Bar Association Budgam unopposed.

No member of the Bar filed a nomination form against Mr. Hubi for the prestigious position, reflecting the unanimous confidence, trust and respect of the legal fraternity in his leadership and contribution to the Association.
During his tenure as President, Mr. Hubi consistently raised issues concerning the welfare of advocates, the functioning of the courts and the interests of litigants. One of the most significant issues pursued by him was the long-pending demand for acquisition of suitable land for construction of a new District Court Complex at Budgam.
The Bar fraternity acknowledged that his persistent efforts brought renewed attention to the pressing infrastructural requirements of the district judiciary and the difficulties faced by advocates, litigants and members of the public due to inadequate court infrastructure.
The declaration of Hubi as Patron unopposed is being viewed by members of the Bar as a clear endorsement of his leadership, commitment and institutional contribution. The absence of any opposing nomination demonstrates that the members have reposed their collective faith in his experience, vision and ability to continue guiding the Association.
The District Bar Association Budgam expressed confidence that Mr. Hubi, in his new role as Patron, will continue to remain actively associated with the legitimate causes of the Bar and will provide guidance and support for the early acquisition of land and establishment of a modern, adequate and dignified Court Complex at Budgam.
